Our herds are typically geriatric and so many pass while living at the

Equine Connection. They are not forgotten and their teachings carry on.

Kara loved connection. She was always ready to show us how to connect, how to deepen our connections and how to build new ones.

Mother

Vienna

Vienna was the leader of the herd for many years and was also the mother to many of the horses. She was a no nonsense, loving mare.

Elder

Landor

Landor was a gentle giant of a horse who taught, loved and gave to so many clients. He loved to play and was good friends with all the horses.

Meditator

Chunky

Chunky was the go to guy when a person was stressed. He would immediately go into a deep breathing meditative state and you couldn't help but go there yourself.

Joey

Joey was the larger black and white pony that lived a life of joy. Despite his poor health, he was always glad of a chance to work and get some loving.

Fancy lived long and strong. She was a boisterous, enthusiastic healer that never got old! She flirted, with loud comments, her whole life.
